One of my favourite screenwriters once said that 70% of success in life is showing up. What a powerful idea. What a true idea.
Sometimes people spend so much of their time practicing for success that they never show up for success.
Showing up to an opportunity as it presents itself is the best kind of practice, because it pushes us to work on things we never expected to encounter.
Instead of practicing for what we think we should do, we should show up to learn what it is we can do; what we're capable of.
Because we can end up doing more than we imagined when we show up and say sure, I think I can do that. Let me give it a shot.
