There are going to be moments in life when you have that feeling.
You know the feeling I'm talking about. It's the one that's quietly suggests you need to make a certain decision despite what everybody else is telling you or take a certain action that is in direct contrast with the places your circumstances are trying to take you.
Usually this feeling emerges deep down in our guts—the place where our food goes and is digested so that our bodies gets the nourishment they need and all the useless stuff goes, well, you know where that stuff goes...
Don't ignore that feeling. Listen to that feeling. Interrogate that feeling. Because there's a reason why it's there. It's there because it's the place in your body where the things you ingest are processed and sent to the other important parts of the body.
Really, it's a place where some fairly big decisions happen. They're organs that answer the questions: what is worth keeping and what can discarded? What is valuable and what is waste?
Let's be honest, though. Going with that feeling in our gut is scary. It's often hard to explain why that feeling is there. It just is, and it's telling us some pretty interesting, and sometimes crazy, things.
I think the people who do great things know their guts, listen to their guts, and then take actions based on the things that their guts tell them.
So what is your gut telling you today?
Don't ignore it. Go with you gut. Take a walk with your gut. And then see where it takes you.
