I bought a new pair of boots last week and they're already broken. There's a rip in the right boot's heel and the front part of the sole of that same boot is already coming off.
I was such a fan of these boots, and now I'm sad because they're broken.
Moral of the story? Don't make, sell, design, or share stuff that breaks down or gives out after a week.
Make something valuable that lasts.
Aldo responded to my tweet and said that I should email them so we can remedy the situation. Let's see what happens!
Aldo's customer service emailed me and apologized for the negative product experience and offered me a gift card in compensation for what was broken, so I'll be receiving a gift card in the mail in two weeks.
Second moral of the story
When you sell something that breaks, do what you can to fix it.
