A good number of people are mentioning on and offline that they're starting something new at this time of year, but I've been wondering in the last few days if it's better for us to start something old; to revisit that old project or idea that really inspired us when we first started it, but forgot about and left behind when something new came along.
Because in a world that's so preoccupied with new, maybe what the world needs is a bit of old injected into the mix to shakes things up.
Me? I've recently started working on an old book idea I've had in the back of my mind for a long time (which, combined with the recent holidays, basically explains my absence from regular blog posting in the last little bit), and it's been exactly what I needed; has been a breath of fresh inspirational air that my creative lungs have been longing for.
So what about you? What's the old project or idea that you need to rediscover and start up again?
Because, well, maybe it's not the new that you need.
